Sebaceous Gland Carcinoma – Lower Eyelid

Wide Local Excision with Reconstruction

Not every eyelid lesion is benign. Persistent or recurrent eyelid swellings should be evaluated by an oculoplasty specialist, as some eyelid tumours can resemble a simple chalazion. Early diagnosis allows timely treatment, better reconstruction and improved outcomes. This case of sebaceous gland carcinoma was managed with wide local excision, cryotherapy and eyelid reconstruction, with excellent healing at follow-up.
